and I want to design beautiful and accessible software while retaining an undeniable visual identity, whether it be the client's or my own.
After graduating from The University of Georgia with a degree in computer science and music business, I set out as a working musician and developed skills in visual design out of necessity. I needed to design merchandise, posters, and album artwork for both my friends and myself.
After years of touring, the COVID-19 Pandemic afforded me a chance to take stock of my current situation. I wanted to combine my growing love of visual design and knowledge of the inner workings of software. This led me to the world of UI and UX Design. Through Designlab’s UX Academy boot camp I learned how to use my innate empathy to connect with my users through in-depth research and make meaningful design decisions.
My goal is to continue learning with the best in the field of UI/UX Design, synthesize knowledge from all the roles I've played in life from barista to frontman, and integrate it into my work. This is how I strive to stay all over the place in the best way possible.
When I'm not designing you can find me working on music and playing video games.
